About
My journey into health and wellness has been anything but linear. It began in my teenage years with a passion for weight training and bodybuilding, which eventually led me to join the Marine Corps. After sustaining an injury, I found myself on the path of self-healing, starting with massage therapy school. From there, I delved into the world of Chinese medicine and qigong.
One of the most profound realizations during that time was the need to take full accountability for my health. Up until then, I hadn't even cooked for myself. This realization inspired me to enroll in culinary school, where I developed a deeper understanding of how nutrition impacts overall well-being.
While working in the maritime industry, I pursued certifications in Pilates and Active Release Technique, eventually discovering and immersing myself in the Functional Range Systems—a true game changer in my approach to movement and mobility.
Then, life threw me another challenge. After a work-related injury and a subsequent MRI, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. Facing this diagnosis forced me to make difficult but necessary decisions. One of the most significant was choosing to transition from my career as a Merchant Marine to dedicating myself fully to the wellness industry.
I realized that my true calling is to help others navigate their own journeys to health, resilience, and vitality. This experience has shaped my mission: to empower others through movement, self-awareness, and sustainable wellness practices.
